Description

Anasazi Vessel by Jim Hodson. Designed with inspiration from the Anasazi Cliff dewllings in Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde. Jim has developed an awesome new technique incorporating slices of rhyolite and ignimbrite stone which he has gathered in Central Oregon into his woodturning. This Vase is made from an ancient Juniper many many years old.
An awesome gift for a Collector of Southwestern Art.

The last 2 close up photos show a couple of wood fractures which are a natural juniper feature as well as a small ding on the back side of the vessel.
